This past weekend, the Cleveland Orchestra held its 43rd annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Concert at Severance Music Center, where it presented its 19th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Awards. Recipients of this year’s awards included Catholic Charities’ own LaJean Ray, Director of Fatima Family Center, Dr. William Henry Caldwell, and the MLK Community Chorus.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award is presented to individuals and organizations whose extraordinary service to the Greater Cleveland area reflects the spirit of Dr. King’s work and teachings.
