CYO inspires young people to know God, to love God, and to serve God through athletics. More than 20,000 youth play CYO sports and over 5,000 adults coach and support CYO sports throughout eight counties in Northeast Ohio.
CYO Athletics provides an opportunity for young people to experience spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional growth through participation in sports.
We have continued to monitor safety guidelines, best practices and protocols from a variety of sources, including local and state health departments, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Ohio High School Athletic Association and other agencies to provide the safest possible environment for the coaches, athletes, and spectators. OHSAA continues to release updated information. We will do our best to release information as we receive it.
In order to be prepared for the winter season, please read our Winter General Guidelines Document as well as our FAQs Regarding CYO Operations in the COVID-19 Environment.
Please also download our COVID-19 Athlete Symptom Monitoring Form. Forms must be completed by head coaches at the start of every game and practice. If an athlete answers YES to any of the questions, they MUST be sent home.
CYO is beginning our 84th year and we are proud to be recognized as one of the top youth sports programs in the country. We take seriously the task of building and passing on the CYO legacy we received that has served young people and families for generations in Northeast Ohio.
