To see a recap of the day, please watch the video above!
This year, Cleveland hosted its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17th. The theme surrounding the event was ‘A Salute to Irish American Athletes’.
Catholic Charities own recently retired Terry Flanagan served as our Irish American Athlete honoree.
The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) and Catholic Charities staff walked this year’s event showing off some of their young athletes. Athletes consisted of students from Mary Queen of Peace, Notre Dame, St. Basil the Great, and more!
Not only did students and staff show up to walk, but Catholic Charities board member Joanna Lopez-Inman and her son also joined the gathering.
While waiting for the parade to start, Euclid and McKinley’s bands entertained participants by playing some of their songs, and dancers from the schools rehearsed their choreography.
The day may have started with cold temperatures and rain but ended with joy and laughter from all who experienced the event.
Thank you to all of the coordinators and participants for putting on a great St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
