Friday, November 5, Catholic Charities staff gathered together at La Sagrada Familia Church in Cleveland's Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood to celebrate its 22nd Annual St. Elizabeth of Hungary Mass & Awards. Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Bishop Edward Malesic presided over the Mass, held every year on a date near the feast day of St. Elizabeth. The patroness saint of Catholic Charities devoted her life to serving the poor and marginalized, work that we strive to continue each day throughout the communities we serve.
