CLEVELAND, OHIO, November 7, 2023 – Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland expects to prepare and distribute up to 15,000 meals during its upcoming annual Thanksgiving Hot Meals distribution event at St. Augustine Hunger Center. Catholic Charities is seeking volunteers to assist with meal service and meal delivery during the event.
On Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023, meals will be distributed from 11 am to 1 pm at St. Augustine Hunger Center (1400 Howard Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113). In addition to serving those who visit the hunger center, Catholic Charities will also be delivering meals to those who need them and providing meals to approximately 15 community partners that support the homeless and homebound in surrounding communities. Deliveries will begin at 10:30 am and go on until all meals are delivered. Our greatest need for this year’s meal distribution is delivery drivers.
