Fr. Joe McNulty was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Cleveland in 1969. Just three years into his priesthood, Fr. Joe was called to serve as chaplain to the Cleveland Catholic Deaf Community. In order to serve this community, he learned sign language at the urging of Sr. Corita, so persons who are deaf could have a signing priest with whom to identify. Fr.
