Catholic Charities Corporation Administrative Offices:
7911 Detroit AvenueLooking for a book on social issues or Catholic Social Teaching? The Micah Center Library may have what you need.
Housed in the Catholic Commission of Summit County, the Micah Center is a lending library with books, videos, and educational materials on church documents, Catholic social teaching, justice and peace issues, National Issues Forums and other related topics. The library open to all in the Diocese of Cleveland.
Individuals and small groups may use the library to meet and conduct research during regular working hours. Amenities include soft seats for small group discussions, a small meeting room and a work station.
Many library materials are used as discussion starters for special programs or catechesis of small groups, such as the JustFaith program. These items, especially the DVDs, are excellent resources for social concern committees and adult study groups.
Along with library materials, we offer help in planning programs for groups or parishes.
