Annual Theme

Each year, Camp Christopher adopts an annual theme rooted in our Catholic faith. The theme guides our programs and supports campers' spiritual, social, and personal growth throughout the season.

2026 Summer Theme: Rooted In...

This summer, our theme “Rooted In…" is a celebration of how God strengthens, grounds, and connects us to one another at Camp Christopher. Similar to the trees here at camp, we are planted into the ground, anchored in our faith and values. Our roots grow deep into the ground helping us grow, and our roots spread wide through our relationships with others, establishing a strong foundation. Lastly, our branches also reach upward like a tree toward God, helping us live out our faith in action.

Together, those directions form the shape of a cross, reminding us that personal and spiritual growth integrates many aspects of our lives. Our hope is that by being part of the Camp Christopher community, campers can develop a strong and steady foundation of servant leadership. By allowing campers opportunities to identify and reflect on values, we hope to deepen their understanding through intentional activities during the week. 

Through self-reflection, conversation, and shared experiences, campers will think about what shapes them, how they are connected to others, and how their faith and values guide their growth. These moments are designed to help campers explore the theme both individually and collectively, as part of the Camp Christopher community.

At Camp Christopher, being Rooted In our Catholic identity allows us to grow in faith, community and compassion all while having fun and making memories along the way!
