Sanctioned Events Tournaments


CYO Members, Parishes, Parish Organizations, Catholic high schools, or Catholic colleges are permitted to sponsor tournaments or competitions with the sanctioning of CYO. Sponsoring organizations submit a Sanctioned Event Application to sanctionedeventsapplication@ccdocle.org at least [10] ten days before the Tournament or Competition begins. A fee of $100 must be sent to Diocese of Cleveland CYO, Sanctioned Event, 7911 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, 44102. Make checks payable to Catholic Charities. Download the Sanctioned Event Application below.

When CYO approval is given, the event is officially listed on this page and advertising is permitted. Advertising is NOT permitted before the event is approved.

Sanctioned Events Team List Fillable Form 

Submit the Sanctioned Events Team List before your tournament begins to the CYO Athletic Office, Noelia.Speringo@ccdocle.org.

Sanctioned Events Completion Report

Please submit the Sanctioned Event Completion Report along with a completed copy of the results, no later than 10 days after the closing date of the event to the CYO Athletic Office: Noelia.Speringo@ccdocle.org. Penalty for non-compliance to any of these terms results in the inability to sponsor events for one calendar year.
