Palmira’s (also known as Mima) relationship with the Hispanic Senior Center started long before some others.
Back in 1984, Mima heard from her church about a center opening and looking for volunteers to help around. She decided to work in the kitchen, and from there, she would always be involved.
After retirement, she joined the center as a participant and enjoys spending time with her friends and playing bingo.
