Individuals and families are encouraged to register now for free holiday meals to be delivered to their homes on November 27
CLEVELAND, OHIO – November 6, 2025 – Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, is gearing up to prepare and distribute 12,000 turkey dinners through its annual St. Augustine Hunger Center Thanksgiving meals campaign. Catholic Charities will provide holiday meals free to the community both on-site in Tremont and through free home delivery thanks to volunteers across greater Cleveland.
“One in six people across Northeast Ohio is food insecure, a number that is climbing rapidly with the rising cost of food and recent SNAP restrictions,” said Jim Mullen, president and CEO of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland. “We embrace the holiday season as an especially important time to connect with the families and individuals we serve, building community and creating hope one nourishing meal at a time.”
The Thanksgiving meal program is possible thanks to the generous support of our partners at Barons Bus and Barons Hockey, as well as contributions from long-time partner Elk & Elk Co. Ltd. and local parishes.
To receive a home-delivered meal on November 27
Community members interested in receiving free home-delivered holiday meals can register now by calling 216-377-3725. Required information includes name, phone number, address and number of meals requested.
Registration will close once 12,000 meals are requested or by noon on Monday, November 24. Delivery will take place on Thursday, November 27, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
To join the Thanksgiving meal service at St. Augustine Hunger Center
For those who’d like to join for an in-person meal, community members are invited to visit the St. Augustine Hunger Center on Thursday, November 27, for our Thanksgiving meal service. Thanksgiving meals will be provided from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the center, 1400 Howard Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113. Catholic Charities will also distribute hot meals through approximately 15 community partner agencies that support individuals in need in surrounding communities.

Fill the Pantry: On Wednesday, November 26, Catholic Charities invites you to drop off shelf-stable foods at St. Augustine Hunger Center (1400 Howard Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113) from 8 a.m. to noon. All donations will be shared with neighbors in need throughout the holiday season through Catholic Charities’ food shelves and pantries across the eight counties of the Diocese of Cleveland.
