Partners in Giving

Help provide help and create hope through our annual Partners in Giving Campaign.

“Let us live in the joyful hope of reciprocating to our brothers and sisters, through what little we can, the abundance we receive from God each day.”
— Pope Francis

We have begun our 2021 Partners in Giving campaign, which we hold every year with the mission of continuing the work of Jesus Christ by responding to the critical needs within Summit County. This year we’ve set a goal of $75,000, which will help fund three of our local services: Counseling & Recovery, Camp Christopher, and Basic Needs.

Counseling & Recovery

Every person, no matter their social standing, has been created in the image and likeness of God and is worthy of respect. This value guides our staff at St. John the Baptist Recovery Outreach Center as they help clients from local communities begin their pathway into recovery.

“At Catholic Charities, we get to directly impact and support some of the most vulnerable members of our society on a daily basis.” - China, Recovery Program Coordinator

Recovery Services provide a unique, self-directed approach to substance use treatment with the guidance of peer recovery coaches. Help respond to the drug addiction epidemic that’s happening right here in Summit County.

Camp Christopher

“You can be the person you were meant to be at camp. When I come here it feels like everyone’s just a big family." - Maggie, Camp Counselor

Camp Christopher is a safe place for kids to experience intentional spiritual development while growing in nature, community, and spirit. Help children make memories that will last a lifetime.

Basic Needs

“Some of the homeless are down and out. The people who volunteer do a good job for the community. And they help people that can’t help themselves.”

- Lee, a consumer at Visitation of Mary’s Hot Meals program.

With your help, we keep the lights and heat on for families in their homes and provide hot meals, groceries, and other household items. Help provide for struggling families and individuals.
