Emergency Food and Shelter Board
The Emergency Food and Shelter Board Program was established in 1983, which authorized legislation specifically calling for "sensitivity to the transition from temporary shelter to permanent homes and attention to the specialized needs of homeless individuals with mental and physical disabilities and illness and to facilitate access for homeless individuals to other sources of services and benefits." Since then, the program has distributed $5.03 billion to over 14,000 human service agencies in more than 2,500 communities across the country through this collaborative effort between the private and public sectors.
Healthy Families Ohio
Healthy Families is a Medicaid program available to families with income up to 90 percent of the federal poverty level and a child younger than age 19.
Jacob and Clara Faber Community Foundation
The Jacob and Clara Faber Community Foundation was founded by Clara Faber in 2001 to honor her late husband, Jacob "Jack" Faber. Jacob was the owner of Jack Faber Body and Paint in Cuyahoga Falls for over 50 years. The Faber Foundation was formed to foster the teaching of auto collision repair and refinishing to the students of the community.
