7911 Detroit AvenueTraditional Camp --- Our Day Camp offers a traditional day camp experience for campers ages 5-12 years old. The Summer Day Camp includes a variety of activities for campers to create long-lasting camp memories.
At Camp Christopher, we understand that mealtime is an important part of the camp experience. We strive to provide nourishing, delicious meals that meet the needs of our campers, including those with food allergies or specific dietary preferences.
Meals:
Our meals are designed to be both tasty and well-balanced as we offer a variety of options. Below are just a few examples of what your child might enjoy during their time at camp. The menu changes weekly to keep things exciting, but all meals are kid-friendly:
Lunch:
Chicken tenders
Pizza
Pasta with various sauces
Sandwiches
Cookout meals (hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.
Salad bar - available daily
Accommodations for Dietary Needs:
We are committed to ensuring that all campers have access to meals that meet their dietary needs. Our kitchen is equipped to handle common food allergies and dietary restrictions, including:
Vegetarian
Gluten-free
Lactose-free
Nut allergies (please alert us at the time of registration)
If your child has any other food allergies or dietary preferences, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate them. Day campers are also welcome to bring their own lunch if preferred.
Meal Schedules:
Timing may vary depending on the program your child is attending. For Day Camp, meals will typically occur at the following time:
Lunch: 12:30 pm
Please note that meal times may vary slightly depending on the group, as we accommodate multiple shifts for each meal to ensure all campers can enjoy their meals in the dining hall.
