Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We accept all insurances, including Medicaid. Catholic Charities will contact your insurance to verify insurance coverage, but if you want to contact your insurance company regarding benefits prior to setting up an appointment here are some suggested questions you may wish to ask:
Catholic Charities will file your charges with your insurance company for the insurance company’s portion of the payment.
What do I need to make an appointment?
Please have your insurance card available when you call to make an appointment. If you are making an appointment for your child (children) please have their date of birth and social security number available as well.
Can I make an appointment for someone else?
You can make an appointment for your child, or for someone for whom you have custody, but please make sure they are aware you are doing so. For adults, however, the choice to go to counseling is up to each individual, so without the client’s consent, an appointment will not be scheduled. You cannot force a person to seek help for a problem. If you are in a situation where your spouse or a family member will not go, you may still benefit from receiving individual counseling.
Are my visits confidential?
Catholic Charities follows all confidentiality regulations and takes your privacy seriously. What you discuss with your therapist and that you are in therapy will remain confidential except for these specific instances:
Do I have to be Catholic to receive services?
No. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland is committed to providing help and creating hope for people of every race and religion in each of the eight counties in the Diocese. We do not serve people because they are Catholic, we serve every person because we are Catholic.
