Camp Activities & Amenities

Camp Happiness provides social and recreational services to children and young adults of all abilities, including those with intellectual and other developmental disabilities during the summer months.  

We strive to fulfill our mission by accomplishing the following goals:

• Provide a safe, enjoyable and recreational group experience
• Create an awareness of community and a sense of spirituality among campers, volunteers and staff
• Provide respite
• Assist children in their social, educational and physical development

Summer programming is designed with consideration of the campers Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and parent input. Efforts to build community integration and socialization skills involve weekly special events and interesting field trips to a variety of settings. Program activities are designed to be adaptive and supportive of varying ability levels as they develop skills learned in school.
