Camp Activities & Amenities

Camp Happiness provides social, recreational and educational services to children and young adults of all abilities, including those with intellectual and other developmental disabilities during the summer months.  

We strive to fulfill our mission by accomplishing the following goals:

• Provide a safe, enjoyable and recreational group experience
• Create an awareness of community and a sense of spirituality among campers, volunteers and staff
• Provide respite
• Assist children in their social, educational and physical development
• Extend the goals within the child’s IEP

Our summer programming is based on parent input and the individual needs of the campers as stated in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Efforts to build community integration and socialization skills involve weekly special events and interesting field trips to a variety of settings. Program activities are designed to allow individuals a chance to participate to the best of their ability as they develop skills learned in school.

Transportation may be offered to individuals without transportation alternatives.
