7911 Detroit AvenueCamp Happiness provides social, recreational & educational services during the summer months to children ages 5 to 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Since 1966, Camp Happiness has been offering a unique summer camp experience for children and young adults with cognitive and other developmental disabilities, regardless of race, religion, culture or economic background.
Campers ages 5 to 21 have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities including games, arts and crafts, swimming, field trips—all modified to meet the needs of each individual.
Camp Happiness is currently accepting applications for in-person camp for our 2024 Camp Season. To receive a hard copy of the application please email Kayti at kehedberg@ccdocle.org or Lauren at lmmailey@ccdocle.org. Camp will take place June 17, 2024- July 26, 2024, at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe.
This summer we are merging our sites and welcoming all campers and staff to the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe! This location allows our individuals to swim every day, has a large grass area for our individuals to utilize for outdoor recreation activities, and we have two large gymnasiums for indoor recreation.
