The Carpenter’s Call is an annual event held by St. Joseph Parish that promotes brotherhood among men striving for strength, service, and sanctity. This is a three-man team relay competition that emphasizes strategy, grit, and brotherhood. It’s more than a workout—it’s a mission to grow in virtue and uplift neighbors in need.
This year’s beneficiary of the Carpenter’s Call is Catholic Charities St. Elizabeth Center.

Our temporary overnight shelter, located at St. Elizabeth Center, serves adult men in Lorain County who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. We provide year-round shelter for up to 50 men, with a focus on supporting those with the following special needs:
