Yes! You can add or adjust your hours at any time by choosing ‘Track Hours’ from the drop-down menu under your account icon. From there select “Add Hours” and follow the prompts. You can also check the box next to the submitted hours and click the ‘trash can’ icon to delete the hours previously submitted and resubmit your hours.
The preferred age for volunteers is 18 years of age. However, volunteer opportunities for minors are available, based on location and adult supervision. Age restrictions are listed in each volunteer opportunity.
Yes, all volunteer opportunities are posted and require registration. Sign up for a Get Connected Digital Galaxy Account and complete the waivers. For opportunities with specific shifts, volunteers can select a shift and then arrive on the assigned date and time. For long-term opportunities, a staff member with the program will be in touch to coordinate additional registration steps and assign a schedule.
We encourage volunteers to dress comfortably in attire suitable to their assignment. Closed-toe shoes must be worn by all volunteers.
Catholic Charities offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. From serving meals to our community, to helping pass out toys during the holiday season, there are a lot of opportunities to support our organization.
