Drop Off/Pick Up

Sessions 1 & 3 - Drop off is Sunday from 2:00PM-3:00PM for girls and 3:15PM-4:00PM for boys, pick up is Wednesday from 9:30am-10:00am.

Sessions 2 & 4 - Drop off is Wednesday from 2:00PM-3:00PM and pick up is Saturday from 9:30am-10:30am.

Check-In Procedure

1	We are implementing a staggered check-in for arrival, please follow accordingly to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all families. Sunday Check-in (sessions 1 & 3) 2:00PM - 3:00PM Female Camper Check-In 3:15PM - 4:00PM Male Camper Check-in If a family has a female and male camper, they will only need to go through the check-in process once. However, male cabins will not open for move in until 3:15PM. Wednesday Check-in (sessions 2 & 4) 2:00PM-3:00PM All Campers Check-in
2	Arrive at 1930 North Hametown Rd, Akron OH, 44333 and park in lower parking lot during set check-in window.
3	-Unload luggage (labeled with camper name) - Staff members will instruct parents to either: 1. Leave luggage for the tractor - for campers residing in distant cabins, typically girls. OR 2. Keep luggage with camper - for campers residing in closer cabins, typically boys.
4	Enter the line of parents and campers and proceed to the check-in table. Campers will learn cabin assignment, answer health questions, and receive a lice check. If campers are found to have active lice infestation they will be dismissed from camp
5	If camper has medication, both child and parent stop at nurses table. All medications must be in their original bottles with clearly labeled, current prescription/instructions.
6	Drop off mail at mail station (optional).
7	Proceed to camper’s cabin during set check-in window.

Important things to note:

Drop off for Express Camp will take place on Sundays from 2:00PM-3:00PM for female campers and 3:15PM-4:00PM for male campers, and on Wednesdays from 2:00PM-3:00PM for all campers. The gates to camp will remained closed until 2:00PM so please do not arrive early. We will begin promptly at 2:00PM. No exceptions for early check-in for either check- in window will be allowed.
For Sunday check-in only: If a family has a female and male camper, they will not need to go through registration process twice. However the male camper will be unable to enter their cabin until 3:15PM.

Parents MUST accompany campers to the cabin and meet the counselor. Parents are encouraged to share any special concerns with their camper’s counselor, who they will meet at the cabin.
WE DO NOT PERMIT ‘SAVING’ BUNKS. Bunks are secured by campers on a first come-first served basis.
Make your goodbyes quick and positive.
Please be sure that your camper does not have a mobile phone, smart watch, or other internet capable device.
Please remember, there are no pets allowed at Camp Christopher regardless of size.

Pick Up Procedure

1	Please arrive on Saturday (sessions 1 & 3) or Wednesday (sessions 2 & 4) between 9:30AM-10:30AM.
2	Please park your vehicle in the lower lot and walk to your camper’s cabin.
3	Parents/guardians will sign out with a staff member at the cabin. Luggage will either be at cabins (campers residing in cabins closer to parking lot - typically boys), or the tractor will bring it to the field next to the parking lot (campers who reside in distant cabins - typically girls).
4	Please check the fence around the beach for any missing items.
5	Please do not forget to pick up medications at the nurses station. If your child had a rescue medication that was required to be with him/her, please retrieve it from their counselor.
6	All campers must depart by 10:30 am. We recommend that you check your child’s luggage at pick up to ensure that he or she is coming home with everything that you packed that week.

Please remember, there are no pets allowed at Camp Christopher regardless of size.
