Migration & Refugee Services Office

As the largest resettlement office in Northern Ohio, Catholic Charities Migration & Refugee Services resettles approximately 230 refugees each year in communities throughout Cuyahoga County.

We respect the dignity of each person and provide a supportive environment where each individual and culture is celebrated. Building upon the courage and strength of these newcomers, we seek to empower them to achieve self-sufficiency and independence by offering a variety of supportive programs and services.

Programs & Services

Our office provides a number of services to recently arrived refugees as we help them resettle within our local communities. We also extend these services for a total of five years after arrival to assist with adjustment. We currently offer the following programs:

• Employment Services
• English Language Training
• Health & Wellness Support
• Immigration Legal Services
• Ohio Center for Survivors of Torture

In addition to these programs, our office also hosts a number of events throughout the year, including community outings, holiday celebrations, and donation distributions for clothing and home goods.

Locations

Catholic Charities Migration & Refugee Services' main offices are located in Cleveland's Detroit–Shoreway neighborhood. We are housed on the first floor of the St. Augustine Towers, located at 7800 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102.
