Disability Ministry Training

Catholic Charities Disability Services and Ministries is hosting a FREE two-day disability ministry training, in partnership with the National Catholic Partnership on Disability, for clergy, parish, and diocesan staff, and ministry volunteers. This event will be held at St. Ambrose Parish (929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212).

Join us and gain foundational knowledge about disabilities and mental health:

• Day One will cover parish accessibility, adaptive catechesis, resource utilization, language guidelines, and conducting parish assessments.

• Day Two will address mental health topics, including accompaniment, stigma, trauma‑informed care, and suicide.

This FREE two-day workshop includes continental breakfast and lunch, and is available in both English and Spanish. Attendees can register for one or both days.
