Join us on Earth Day for the 2023 Awards Dinner hosted by the Lorain Catholic Commission!
The annual Lorain County Catholic Commission Awards Dinner recognizes individuals and organizations in Lorain County who exemplify through their actions the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. It is also the largest fundraising event for the Lorain Catholic Commission, which is part of the Diocesan Social Action Office within Catholic Charities.
The event is located at Sacred Heart Parish (410 West Lorain St. Oberlin, OH 44074) beginning with a Vigil Mass at 4 pm. Following Mass will be time to socialize before dinner is served at 6 pm. The program will begin at 7 pm and includes Most Rev. Michael G. Woost, Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland, as guest speaker.
