Catholic Charities Wayne County
Catholic Charities Corporation Administrative Offices:
7911 Detroit AvenueReach your goals together! Wraparound services provide natural and formal supports for help, hope, and healing to those with developmental disabilities and a mental health diagnosis.
Since 2013, the WISE Program (formerly known as Strong Families/Safe Communities) has been engaging local systems to identify community-driven solutions that highlight collaboration across agencies to develop the best possible outcomes for these families.
WISE serves individuals with co-occurring mental illness and developmental disabilities, who need stabilization in their current living environment. Individuals may be exhibiting aggressive or violent behaviors that place them at risk of being placed outside their home.
**Services may include: wraparound meetings, case management, counseling, parent support, parent/caregiver respite.
This program is funded in part by the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Wayne & Holmes Counties in collaboration with the Holmes County Board of Developmental Disabilities and the Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
If you or someone you know may be interested in the WISE Program, call the Special Populations Program Manager for more details.
