St. Martin de Porres Older Adult Program

St. Martin de Porres' Senior Program offers programs designed to improve participant's physical, mental and spiritual health with the ultimate goal of helping older adults maintain their independence.

The program is held weekly, Monday through Friday, at St. Martin de Porres Family Center. Transportation to and from the center is available for income-eligible older adults 60 years and older.

Seniors enjoy a wide range of activities, such as:

• Community outings
• Movie days
• Table games such as Bid Wiz, Domino’s and Bingo
• Billiards
• Free health screenings
• Physical activities (Zumba, low impact chair exercises, and aquatic exercises)
• Silver Sneakers Program
• Cognitive and memory stimulating activities

Nutritious meals and snacks are also provided to participants.

Home-Delivered Meals for Older Adults

Open to older adults 60 years and older who meet the Federal Income Guidelines and who are homebound and incapable of coming into the center for congregate meal service. Meals are delivered to older adults Monday through Thursday.

All enrolled participants will receive a five-pack of meals weekly, which includes one (1) hot meal weekly.
