7911 Detroit AvenueWe provide socialization opportunities, development services and congregate meals to income-eligible older adults ages 60 and up in the Glenville neighborhood.
St. Martin de Porres' Senior Program offers programs designed to improve participant's physical, mental and spiritual health with the ultimate goal of helping older adults maintain their independence.
The program is held weekly, Monday through Friday, at St. Martin de Porres Family Center. Transportation to and from the center is available for income-eligible older adults 60 years and older.
Seniors enjoy a wide range of activities, such as:
Nutritious meals and snacks are also provided to participants.
Open to older adults 60 years and older who meet the Federal Income Guidelines and who are homebound and incapable of coming into the center for congregate meal service. Meals are delivered to older adults Monday through Thursday.
All enrolled participants will receive a five-pack of meals weekly, which includes one (1) hot meal weekly.
At St. Martin de Porres Family Center, the program is funded in part by the City of Cleveland Community Development Block Grant, Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services, Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Greater Cleveland, Catholic Charities contributions, and private donors.
