Silver Threads Senior Program

Silver Threads offers services and activities designed to improve physical, mental and spiritual health with the ultimate goal of helping older adults maintain their independence.

Held every Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fatima Family Center, our program welcomes seniors ages 55 and up.

Seniors enjoy a wide range of socialization activities including:

• Bible study
• Arts & crafts
• Quilting & knitting
• Computer classes
• Yoga & tai chi classes
• Television & Wii video games
• Table games including cards, checkers and dominoes

Seniors also participate in health education workshops courtesy of the Cleveland Clinic. Health screenings are provided monthly.

Continental breakfast and lunch are also provided to all participants.

There are no fees for this program fees, however seniors are encouraged to make a donation to help with the cost of food.

Fatima Senior Program is funded in part by individual contributions. We partner with the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, Cleveland Clinic, Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services, and Roots of American Music and United Way of Greater Cleveland.
