Parent Mentoring provides mentoring services to parents of at-risk youth who are apart of our Teen Mentoring program or referred by Lorain County Children Services.
Our parent mentoring services are available to parents or guardians of youth participating in our teen mentoring program, or who are referred by Lorain County Children Services.
Individuals are matched with a parent mentor and meet once a week in-home or at a community meeting place. Using a variety of educational tools and resources, our parent mentors offer non-clinical, positive guidance on topics such as:
Parent Mentoring is funded in part by Lorain County Children Services, the Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery Services Board of Lorain County, and individual contributions.
