Holy Family's hospice goal is, and always will be, to remain grounded in our mission and to never lose sight of the ever-changing, individualized needs of our patients as they enter this next phase of life’s journey.

Hospice is not a place, but a philosophy of care focused on the individual’s comfort and wishes. Those who use hospice care are given the opportunity to determine where they will receive services and how much or how little support they need with the help of their specialized hospice team.

Patients may choose to stay at home, in an extended care facility or in Holy Family Home's residential facility for hospice services. Regardless of where they live, Holy Family Hospice offers a holistic approach, using traditional and alternative comfort therapies, that help patients and families cope with the complexity of the end-of-life process.

Holy Family Hospice recognizes the overwhelming feelings that many families experience with the illness and passing of a loved one, and through our strong spiritual emphasis, we focus on patient and family support. They deliver compassionate care that addresses the needs of the whole person. Holy Family cares for individuals with a life-limiting illness regardless of religion or financial status. Whether comfort takes the form of physical, emotional or spiritual care, their team of caregivers helps the transition become less about the illness and more about comfort, enrichment and love.
