Hispanic Senior Center
Catholic Charities Corporation Administrative Offices:
7911 Detroit AvenueOur free weekly program provides recreational and social activities, as well as assistance with cultural and linguistic needs, for Hispanic seniors living in the Greater Cleveland area.
The Hispanic Senior Center offers recreational and socialization activities for older Hispanic adults, while focusing on the cultural and linguistic needs of seniors within Greater Cleveland's Hispanic community.
Most of our participants face the culturally unexpected experience of social isolation; living alone and out of contact with family, friends or peers. Language and cultural barriers make healthcare, housing and general socialization systems even more difficult to access.
Our center offers individuals the opportunity to be among friends, sharing a common language and cultural background.
Senior enjoy a wide range of activities at the center, including:
Lunch is provided to all participants. Transportation to and from the center is also provided.
This program is offered at no cost to participants.
The Hispanic Senior Center is funded in part by the City of Cleveland Community Development Block Grant, Community West Foundation, Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging and generous individual contributions.
