Catholic Charities Ashland County
Catholic Charities Corporation Administrative Offices:
7911 Detroit AvenueThis parenting program services residents of Ashland county, providing them the tools to improve function and encourage healthy relationships.
Healthy Kids Strong Families Parenting Program aims to enhance current strengths within families and help them develop resiliency by providing individuals the tools to improve function and encourage healthy relationships.
The tools provided are developed through researching and incorporating trauma-informed practices to nurture children's social and emotional competencies, including attachments, relationships, initiative, and self-regulation.
This includes strengthening the parent or caregiver's own social and emotional competencies and parenting practices. The program also promotes children's positive development, overall safety, and well-being and encourages the restoration of broken families.
Each component provides for additional support, documentation, and further development as the
need arises.
Flexible session options include telehealth, home, community, or office visits.
Health Kids Strong Families Parenting Program is made possible through a partnership with the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County.
