Health and Wellness Support

With the support of the case management team and a full-time health care navigator, refugees receive necessary health services and treatment, as well as education on the U.S. health care system and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Health care-related support includes:

• Health care navigation
• Intensive case management for complex medical and mental health needs
• Elective classes focused on topics such as “Nutrition”, “Pharmacy Navigation”, “Food Assistance Programs”, and many more
• Culturally specific wellness groups
• Specialized programming for refugee single mothers
• Linkage to individual behavioral health services

By providing initial services and preventative education, our comprehensive healthcare programming aims to strengthen the long-term health and self-sufficiency of all eligible participants. Helping participants identify their health needs will better prepare them to handle health issues that may arise in the future.
