7911 Detroit AvenueStruggling with anger and aggression? In Geauga County, we offer a group therapy program where participants learn new methods to respond to stressors and change their behavior.
Have you ever been so angry that you've become out of control or aggressive?
Our Family Violence Intervention program seeks to help those who have been physically, emotionally or verbally aggressive with others, or who find themselves unable to control their anger.
Our program offers group therapy that uses a psychoeducation approach to help participants understand the impact domestic violence has on their relationships. We also teach participants alternative responses to stressors as well as new methods to change their behavior.
Th focus of our program is on ending aggressive outbursts and violence in relationships.
The Family Violence Intervention program is funded in part by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, Geauga County Board of Mental Health & Recovery Services, Ohio Department of Medicaid and client fees.
If you or someone you know may be interested in our program, please use our online contact form to send us a message. You may also call Catholic Charities Geauga County at (440) 285-3537 for more information.
