Caring for an aging or disabled loved one can be both meaningful and overwhelming. Summit Adult Day Services, in partnership with Direction Home Akron Canton, offers a monthly Family Caregiver Support Group designed to provide encouragement, education, and connection for caregivers in Summit County and surrounding communities.

Family caregivers often juggle emotional, physical, and logistical challenges while supporting a loved one. Our Family Caregiver Support Group creates a welcoming, supportive environment where caregivers can connect with others who understand their experiences.
This group is open to anyone caring for an aging adult or an individual with a disability, whether you are new to caregiving or have been providing care for many years.

The group is led by Direction Home Akron Canton Aging & Disabilities Family Caregiver Support Specialists, along with Catholic Charities Summit County support services staff.
