In partnership with The Cleveland Orchestra, the Fatima Family Center hosted a night of performances on Wednesday, April 24th.
This event was the second of four concerts that made up The Cleveland Orchestra’s In Community Chamber Concert Series which is intended to highlight unity while also highlighting the orchestra and their partner organizations.
The Cleveland Orchestra and flutist, composer, and producer, Allison Loggin-Hull were inspired to start this concert series after learning about the missions and histories of their partners: H.K. School of Bandura, the Fatima Family Center, and Karamu House.
The program included performances by the Fatima Family Center’s adult gospel choir, musicians of The Cleveland Orchestra, Allison Loggins-Hull, and soprano, Laquita Mitchell.
The next parts of this music series will take place on Wednesday, May 1 at the Karamu House in Cleveland and Saturday, May 11 at Severance Music Center at 7 pm. More information about these performances can be found at clevelandorchestra.com/chamberseries24
