LaJean Ray and April Buchanan on Channel 19's 43 Focus

This past Thursday, the Director of the Fatima Family Center LaJean Ray, and Program Coordinator of the Leadership Program April Buchanan were featured on Channel 19’s 43 Focus show.

They discussed the importance of books, childcare, and what Fatima is doing about it.

“We are very concerned about the banning of books. We are very concerned about the threat to children being able to go to care…” Ray said.

The Fatima Family Center hopes to bring awareness to these issues and help out the families they serve.

“Fatima tries to engage people by educating them about some of the issues, supporting them as they rally to really stand firm against some of the things we think that are going to impact our families,” Ray said.
