Catholic Charities hosted its first in-person Volunteer Awards since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak on Wednesday, April 19th.
Without the help of these dedicated individuals, Catholic Charities would not be able to help nearly as many people.
With over 650,000 hours of service from volunteers, we have been able to serve over 400,000 individuals in need.
This year’s volunteer appreciation event was filled with socializing, a catered lunch, speeches made by award-recipient presenters, and more!
This year’s award winners included:
- Core Value Award for Justice: Nick Crème, CYO
- Core Value Award for Stewardship: Medina Advisory Council
- Core Value Award for Hope: East Tech JROTC and Leadership
- Core Value Award for Concern for the Poor: Kathy Esbenshade, Ashland County
- Core Value Award for Dignity of the Person: Mark McCarthy, Migration & Refugee Services
- Group of the Year: Tech JROTC and Leadership
- Volunteer of the Year: Mark McCarthy, Migration & Refugee Services
Congratulations to the 2023 Volunteer Award winners and thank you to all volunteers involved with our programs ! We could not do it without your help and support.
