CLEVELAND, OHIO, January 21, 2022 – Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland is pleased to announce the appointment of Ali Zeyen Thomas as the organization’s new Senior Director of Human Resources (HR). With over 15 years of progressive HR experience in the nonprofit sector, Ali brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role. Ali comes to Catholic Charities from the Cleveland Sight Center, where she served as the HR Director for over six years, and previously from The Centers for Families and Children, where she was the Talent Manager, Recruiting and Retention for eight years.
In this role, Ali will serve as the primary subject matter expert providing guidance to the HR team and organizational leaders regarding human resources policies, procedures, compliance regulations, employee and labor relations actions, and more. Ali is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and completed the LeadDIVERSITY program through The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio in 2017.
