Scott and Samantha are current clients of Adoption Services at Catholic Charities and are currently waiting for that day when they will be able to hold their precious baby for the first time. For now, they strive to be patient until a birth mother chooses them to be the adoptive parents. Samantha and Scott could be waiting days, months, or years for a baby... timing is unclear. But one thing is clear: Samantha and Scott already love their child so much even though they have not met yet. Read the letter below that they wrote for their future child.
Dear Child...
Dear Child... Adoption is amazing. We are so blessed for the opportunity that your birth parents will be giving us so that we can fulfill our family.
Dear Child... You are the missing piece we have been longing for and we thank God for the day He will bring you home to us.
Dear Child... We are waiting patiently for you.
Dear Child... We can’t wait to celebrate your adoption with you.
Dear Child... We will always support you and be there for you. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the good times and be there to hug you in the bad times.
Dear Child... We are so excited to meet you.
Dear Child... We’re going to have so much fun together.
Dear Child... You are already loved more than you could ever possibly imagine.
Dear Child... It is okay to be as imaginative and creative as you want.
Dear Child... We’re going to support you in all of your hopes and dreams and push you to be the best you can be.
Dear Child... Life will be difficult. But we will always be there for you to help you pick up the pieces and will love you unconditionally forever.
