In honor of National Adoption Month (November), Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) reached out to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland for a success story. Our adoption and foster care programs have been successfully creating loving homes and forever families for years – including the Donatelli Family.

An excerpt:
Through all of the ups and downs, the highs and lows, emotional roller coaster rides, crying fits and resentment toward my body for not being able to do what a woman is supposed to do, everything was worthwhile and couldn’t have turned out better.
I love to share our story, to tell the positives of adoption and how the process went. I love to help other people who know nothing about it, just as I did when we started, and then to hear their success stories. Our children are beautiful. They are loved immensely and we have had a tremendous amount of support as we have traveled this journey.
We are so appreciative of the commitment and backing that we received from Catholic Charities, and that we continue to receive even though our adoptions are finalized.
