In 2019, volunteers at Visitation of Mary and Blessed Trinity—our additional Emergency Assistance site in Summit County—served nearly 12,000 Community Hot Meals.
Without our dedicated volunteers, this program would not be able to reach as many members of the community as it has. Our volunteers are what make this program possible.
We are always in need of more volunteers willing to prepare, cook and serve meals to those in need in the Akron area. Volunteer opportunities are available during afternoon and evening hours on Mondays and Tuesday at Visitation of Mary Parish, while volunteers at Blessed Trinity are needed on Wednesday mornings and afternoons.
