Catholic Charities Corporation Administrative Offices:
7911 Detroit AvenueOur office provides services to children and families in Cuyahoga County. We specialize in providing services centered around behavioral issues in the home and/or school environment.
Our services are offered in the community, meeting families where it is most comfortable and convenient for them. Our Care Coordinators are able to meet with families and children in homes, schools, and other locations in their communities.
We work with families with children who have emotional and/or behavioral difficulties and are at risk of placement outside of the home. Our Care Coordinators help identify and provide the supports a family needs to reach their goals.
Referrals are received from Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services, and parents in the community.
Our services incorporate the "High Fidelity Wraparound" approach, a proven model for working with families to reduce the rate of out of home placements and to reduce the length of stays in detention home and treatment centers.
We operate the following programs throughout Cuyahoga County:
Following the High Fidelity Wraparound Process, we provide Community Psychiatric Support Treatment (CPST) to help families identify their strengths and use those strengths to meet the needs the family feels are most important.
A dedicated Care Coordinator supports and assists the family and works with their natural supports and other professionals involved. Care Coordinators facilitate meetings to ensure everyone is working together as a team with the family members at the center.
Provided services include:
Services for community psychiatric support treatment are billed to Medicaid.
"System of Care has helped me learn ways to handle my daughter without having to put my hands on her. System of Care has helped me build a healthier relationship with my daughter and also helped us find ways to improve her functioning in school."
"System of Care has been absolutely wonderful for the past few years they’ve been working with myself and my son. Although we still struggle with some issues, with their help, our communication has grown stronger, and I have become more understanding of my son’s feelings and emotions. Miss Kayla McNeil, in addition to Mrs. Hope Sheppard, dealt with my son (and me) with a tremendous amount of patience. I appreciate all the help and assistance I have received from System of Care, and I would recommend it to anyone in the future."
