Ashland County Community Foundation IMPACT Youth Council
The Ashland County Community Foundation has a program known as IMPACT Youth Council (Imagine Making Philanthropy an Ashland County Tradition) for sophomores, juniors and seniors from Ashland, Hillsdale, Loudonville and Mapleton high schools, the Ashland-West Holmes Career Center, Veritas Academy and Home Schoolers.

Students chosen to participate on the IMPACT Youth Council work as a team to gain awareness of the needs of youth in Ashland County and then review applications for programs that provide services to meet those needs. 


Ashland municipal court

Ashland Municipal Court
The Ashland Municipal Court proudly serves the citizens of Ashland County, Ohio. We have one elected judge, Judge John L. Good; one appointed magistrate, Magistrate Fred M. Oxley; one appointed clerk of court, Annette Shaw; and a staff consisting of approximately 30 clerks, bailiffs, probation officers, and security personnel.

Hugo and Mabel Young Foundation
Established in 1963, the Hugo and Mabel Young Foundation supports "worthy charitable causes which benefit the wide community" in which Hugo and Mabel were active and known. Giving primarily is limited to non-profit organizations in Ohio, with a special interest in Ashland and Holmes counties.

The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County, through a network of providers, ensures the availability and accessibility of quality services that support recovery for individuals with trauma, mental health challenges and/or drug/alcohol abuse and addictions.

Mohican Area Community Fund
Since 1975, the Mohican Area Community Fund (MACF) has served our Mohican community, helping hundreds of local families and individuals to live better lives.

MACF has provided essential funding support for more than 20 local nonprofit organizations and other groups that offer services in support of academic excellence, the arts, health and human services, youth sports and recreation, and recognition of our historic past, as well as our own quality of life.
