Catholic Charities Corporation Administrative Offices:
7911 Detroit AvenueWith a career grounded in the nonprofit world, Jennifer Tulli, Director of Matt Talbot Residential Addiction Treatment Program, joined Catholic Charities in 2017. She holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a BA in Sociology from The State University of New York at Cortland. Drawing from a depth and breadth of experiences, and education, she sees solutions while others see barriers; as an outcomes-oriented leader, she has a proven record in success. In addition to planning and directing all clinical and business operations, she is also a mentor to her staff. Seeing that everyone brings a multitude of talents, she looks for opportunities to maximize their potential and help them work from a place of strength. Currently, she is creating initiatives for leadership development and team building.
Jennifer also develops strategic plans to maximize growth opportunities that meet the demand of the community. At Catholic Charities, she spearheaded the move of Matt Talbot Residential Addiction Program for Women to an environment more conducive to favorable results. Additionally, she hired full-time art therapists and integrated art therapy into therapeutic interventions. She has become an integral part in facilitating the partnerships between local parishes and Matt Talbot, including bringing substance abuse education to adolescents and teens. Under her leadership, Matt Talbot’s was selected as the residential treatment program in a pilot program involving the new court docket, Mental Health Docket, which incorporates a Drug Court model to improve outcomes for adults with co-occurring disorders.
Before coming to Catholic Charities, she spent five years as a regional epidemiologist for the Ohio Substance Abuse Monitoring (OSAM) Network, conducting focus groups to gather qualitative data on substance abuse trends and newly emerging problems within Ohio communities. As the Associate Director of Behavioral and Community Health, she created, implemented, and maintained innovative patient care programs that addressed the holistic needs of an increasing Medicaid patient population for the MEDTAPP Community Health Initiative Grant. Jennifer also served in multiple leadership positions at Recovery Resources, including Director of Clinical Treatment Services, Director of Strategic Implementation, Associate Director of Programs and Services, and Program Manager. In those roles, she designed and put into practice programming to meet the needs of addiction and mental health clients.
Jennifer knows that Matt Talbot’s success comes from honoring the individual and helping them through a culture of kindness and respect. She is proud that Matt Talbot is not just a drug and alcohol treatment center, but also specializes in clinical health for every client.
