7911 Detroit AvenueBeth Flynn joined the Diocese of Cleveland CYO in September 2017 as temporary staff, but she moved to full time in 2018. Her path began at an early age as she would spend her weekends at the Corpus Christi Recreation Center in Dayton, OH where her father, Jim, ran a pee-wee basketball league for 30 years. Jim was also one of the founding members of CYO of Greater Dayton in 1983.
Beth participated in CYO volleyball, basketball, and softball while attending Corpus Christi School. Upon entering Chaminade-Julienne High School, she joined the reserve tennis team. During her 4 years of participation she mentored underclassman and new athletes.
Beth worked in the sports and athletic industry throughout her career, beginning with her high school job in the ticket office for the Dayton Dragons. Additionally, she worked for Athletic Video while attending The Ohio State University, as well as part-time jobs and internships with other organizations including, the Columbus Crew, Tennessee Smokies, Cleveland Browns, and Lake County Captains.
Beth spends her time playing roller derby and has served in leadership for her local league, as well as the Rules Theory Panel and Board of Directors for the international governing body. She also enjoys puzzles and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Beth has a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University and obtained her CAA in December 2022.
