Join us for a Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation— a sacred opportunity to pray for the grace to encounter Christ in Creation and renew our relationships with God, the Earth, and one another.

During this Jubilee Year of Hope, join as a Pilgrim of Hope for Creation with faith communities across NE Ohio and the U.S.! Notably, this Jubilee Year of Hope also marks the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ encyclical and the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi’s Canticle of the Creatures.

To celebrate these special observances, several local Pilgrimages of Hope for Creation are being planned for this Fall around the Diocese of Cleveland as sacred opportunities to walk and pray for the grace to encounter God’s Creation and renew our relationships with God, the Earth, and one another. We invite you to walk with us on one of our local  Pilgrimages of Hope for Creation during the interfaith Season of Creation—Sept. 1-Oct. 4, 2025.

What To Bring

Participants in the Pilgrimages of Hope should bring:

• comfortable walking shoes
• weather-appropriate clothing/sunwear
• refillable water bottle
• light snack
• sunscreen

Additional water and healthy snacks/fresh fruit will be available along the pilgrimage route.
