Matt Talbot for Men was founded in 1965 by Father Berard Scarborough, O.F.M., as a halfway house for addicted men. He named it in honor of the Venerable Matt Talbot, an alcoholic from the age of 12, who became sober at the age of 28 with the help of God and his community.
The goal of Matt Talbot for Men is to help men start their recovery journey by committing to an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle. We strive to restore the human spirit and empower men to gain dignity from living a responsible and productive life.
We also specialize in treating clients with a dual diagnosis of addiction and a mental health disorder, offering comprehensive treatment during a client's recovery journey.
Matt Talbot for Men serves all men regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, disability, or ability to pay.
